Overturned Tractor-trailer with Pin-in

On Tuesday, May 25th, Rescue 1 responded to a
tractor-trailer overturned on the Barker Ten Mile Road north
of Lumberton. Upon arrival, three vehicles were involved,
including a tractor-trailer loaded with waste water. The
driver of the truck was pinned in. After stabilization of
the vehicle, Rescue 1 members extricated the driver of the
truck. Extrication time was 25 minutes. There was a total of
three injured. Rescue 110, Rescue 112, Medic 145 and Command
121 were on the scene. Rescue 1 was assisted by Station 16 (Northwoods),
Station 29 (Saddletree), Robeson County EMS, and the North
Carolina Highway Patrol.
