Rescue 1 responds to rollover with
pin-in

Rescue 1 was dispatched to a vehicle rollover with a
pin-in on Fayetteville Road at I-95. A single vehicle had
ran off the roadway on the right, struck the guardrail and
overturned down an embankment. The unrestrained driver was
thrown from the vehicle and was pinned between the
overturned vehicle and ground. Rescues 110, 112, 121 and
Medic 145 responded to the scene. Rescue 1 personnel, using
airbags and the Jaws of Life, lifted the vehicle off the
victim. Rescue 1 was assisted by Lumberton Fire Engines 1 and 4,
Robeson County EMS and the Lumberton Police Department.
